About Me

Hello, I am Kaylynn Koester, a senior at Osceola High School. I enjoy outdoor activities, stargazing, camping, baking, crafting, thrifting, and singing during my free time. I collect many things, including plants, candles, pins, and animals. I love all things nature and helping others in many different ways. I chose to take part in Why Wait this year because I have seen so many other students tackle huge problems, and this year, I wanted to take a shot at conquering one of the problems that I find more hurtful in my life: the animal shelter crisis. My overall vision for this project is to share the stories of pets in need and help out local shelters by fundraising for them and motivating local communities to help.
